LocalPlayer isn't the brightest idea because it can be replicated among other local scripts (which is apparently what is happening here). If you use a RemoteEvent or RemoteFunction and fire a signal to the server, the server will retrieve whatever player fired the event or function, and this player is not replicated like LocalPlayer can be.
Some notes of using HumanoidDescriptions:
Humanoid:GetAppliedDescription() returns the HumanoidDescription currently being used by the Humanoid. You can edit the properties on the fly, although stuff like hair and hats may need to be removed from the original character before they get applied, otherwise you may end up with multiple pieces of headwear stuck to the Humanoid at once (that is, if you plan to limit what the player can put on their head).
When applying accessories and such, if the accessory appears to be off-center or it doesn't appear properly attached, you should use an Attachment to align it to your liking. Some accessories in particular like to do this (for example, most community-made accessories do this).
