Securing my remote event, but there is a problem im unsure how to solve it?

I want to secure my remote event from exploiters, but there is a problem

My game is a multiplayer quiz, and since i dont want people revealing answers and people passing because someone answered it, so everything is handled on the client, every time someone's answer is correct, the remote event fires changing the currentlevel value stored inside the player to the current level the player is.

Exploiters could fire and fire this remote so they can reach every level, And since your progress saves, They will rejoin and BOOM! Every question solved!

I think there are multiple choices to secure your remotes.

Of course you need to check everything in the server. If you game is a quiz game then I think you can do this:

  1. Making player's answer as a server-sided value

Try to update each players value each time they get a correct answer In this example I'm gonna use .Chatted event

local answer = "im a human"

game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function(plr)
    local playerAnswer = Instance.new("StringValue")
    playerAnswer.Parent = plr

    plr.Chatted:Connect(function(message)
        if message:lower() == answer then
            -- your stuff here, bla bla bla
            playerAnswer.Value = answer
        end
    end)
end)
  1. Check player's answer value after remote is being fired
local event = -- your event

event.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(plr)
    if plr.playerAnswer.Value == "" or nil then
        plr:Kick("Bad boy")
    else
        -- reveal your answer, bla bla bla
        plr.playerAnswer.Value = ""
    end
end)
