COMMUNITY QUESTION

How do you make a player or a humanoid get up after being tripped over on command?

When a player's torso's CFrame is set so that the player is facing straight upwards, the player trips over. Is there any way to make the player immediately get back up without using CFrame? (methods related to Changing Humanoid Properties would be most appreciated)

Try Humanoid:ChangeState. You can force a character to go back up by setting their state to running. Here's an example.

local humanoid = workspace.Raccoonyz.Humanoid -- Get the humanoid of me!
humanoid:ChangeState(Enum.HumanoidStateType.Running)

You can also try Enum.HumanoidStateType.GettingUp, although it may not work.

Thanks; is spamming this line of code inside of a while loop a good idea? Would this prevent tripping over?
