I am tryna make a JoJo game, and I'm tryna make stand quotes/taunts(games like a bizarre day have this function) to spice things up in it. So I've made a script, and put a remote event in it. I then script it and for some reason, the on server event doesn't work at all. There was no errors in the output so I thought it was a issue with the other stuff in the code, So I went and debugged. No results. I'll post the code.

client side=

local userinputservice = game:GetService("UserInputService")
local enabled = false -- begone spam
local Quote = script.StandQuote:WaitForChild("Quote")

userinputservice.InputBegan:Connect(function(Input, GPE)
	if not GPE then
if Input.UserInputType == Enum.KeyCode.N and enabled == false then
			enabled = true
			Quote:FireServer(player)
			wait(1)
			enabled = false
		end

Server side=

local remote = script:WaitForChild("Quote")

remote.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player)
	print("large joe")
	local Billboard = script:WaitForChild("BillboardGui"):Clone()
		local Head = player.Character.Head
		Billboard.Parent = Head
		local typewriter = script.BillboardGui.TextLabel.Script
		typewriter.Disabled = false
		wait(2)
		typewriter.Disabled = true
	end)

(btw yes the "print("large joe")" didnt even appear) It'll be super helpful if I can find a solution to this, and if you have any suggestions for what I should do about the quote script, feel free to say!

Well, while firing to server, you don't have to index player. Simply do, Quote:FireServer(). Also, it will be helpul, where is your Server & Local script located.

I located this inside of a local script that's in starter pack
