Are there any uses for newproxy(false) / blank userdata?

Newproxy creates blank userdata, i know it but most posts (All i've seen yet) only talk about newproxy(true) which adds metatable to it. But i like to use some rare globals in my code because it feels good for me so i was wondering, is there any way i can use newproxy(false)? I created the blank userdata and what do i do with them?

Thanks, kirda

there is literally no reason to use newproxy(false), ever

you can't give the value a metatable and you can't add values to it

actually there's almost no reason to use newproxy(true) either, unless you really, truly, just absolutely NEED to use the # operator—anything that can be done with a proxy can probably be done just as well, or probably even better by a regular table

also uh...about your whole "rare globals" addiction...you might want to get that checked out...using """rare globals""" shouldn't make you feel good, it should honestly just make you feel like your code is hacked together and inefficient 99% of the time
