Is there anyway you can change a tool to be always equipped?

I'm trying to develop an FPS game, however, I need to find out how to make a tool always equipped and that players cannot unequip it. Anyone know how to do it?

You can just disable the tool bar at the bottom of the screen using StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(). It takes (for parameters) an Enum and a bool. In this case what you want to do is disable the tool bar, which stops the Player from unequipping their tool. So you would use this code:

local StarterGui = game:GetService("StarterGui")
StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Backpack, false)

That should solve your problem! P.S. to turn it back on just change the second parameter to true

This would work but I suggest making a script that would force equip the tool once a player joins/respawns or else they won't be able to equip it

Yeah that also works but you can still equip it by using Humanoid:EquipTool()

Put in Local Script in Tool:

Function Equipped()
	local StarterGui = game:GetService("StarterGui")

	StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Backpack, false)
end

script.Parent.Equipped:Connect(Equipped)

This makes it so once a humanoid equips a tool, it immediately disables backpack guis, which can cause you to infinitely have the tool equipped
