I am making 3D particles emit from the player when they fall from a distance with Enum.HumanoidStateType.Landed, I want the particles to emit when the player falls from the height of a jump and I don't know how to measure the distance the player has fallen.

For example when the player jumps up onto a higher platform the particles still emit, or when the player walks down the stairs with each step the particle emits

Hum.StateChanged:Connect(function(CurrentState)
	if Debounce == true then return end
	if CurrentState == Enum.HumanoidStateType.Jumping then
		spawn(smokecirclejump)
		Grounded = false
	end
	if CurrentState == Enum.HumanoidStateType.Landed then
		spawn(smokecircleland)
		Grounded = true
	end
end)

Don't try to think of it as measuring the height of a jump. Think of it as measuring the time that the player has been falling. Basically, by tracking the change in the humanoid state, you can figure out how long the player has been falling. You'll have to decide how long that should be. This post on the devforum is about fall damage, but I think the concept might help you

Thank you this helped me and solved my problem, but I don't know how to mark a comment as an answer
