Unfortunately, I cannot dictate how you code however this is more of a request, not a scripting help request. There are many things to do with LUA scripting knowledge including making APIs, making games, and making successful groups.

I know tutorials are handy, but I usually just copy them and don't know what they teach me, I wanna learn these things on my own, not with videos.
This sounds like a request. If you wanna make a sword, take a look at Roblox's Linked Sword and see how it is made. For guns, I recommend the video by Evil Duck since I use that script for generic raycasts.
