Hey,
I have a pet that follows characters. My only issue is that when a player swims the pet leans fowards to follow to lookVector of the Character. My question is how to make lookVector CFrame only use X and Z Axis and ignore the Y Axis?
I have messed around with lowering torque and power, etc. problem is that as said item touches the water, the water is then strong enough to push the pet into wacky spins. So i require a high pressure on the gyro. I'll take any solutions!
I'm currently just using this as part of a wait loop which works great and is simple. I'm just not good with in-depth CFrames. I have tried substituting the 1 with * vector3.new(0,1,1) and other combinations of numbers but CFrames can get tricky and I know there must be some answer that may involve radians and so on.
Thank you for helping!
script.Parent.HumanoidRootPart.BodyGyro.CFrame = char.HumanoidRootPart.CFrame + char.HumanoidRootPart.CFrame.lookVector * 1
P.S. The pet is made of multiple pieces not a single union. The pet also doesnt use a humanoid, just a bodygyro and bodyposition.
