Alright, so right now I have it so that when you press C, it shoots out a ray from the lower torso. If the ray intersects cover, it plays an animation and creates a cylindrical constraint so that it "sticks" the character to the cover. This is what it looks like so far.
Right now, I could just press c and to get out of cover, turn to face the perpendicular wall, and press c again to go behind that wall. That works, but it would be so much better if I could somehow get the character to turn the corner without getting out of cover. I was thinking maybe when I reach the edge of the cover, it would cast a ray and if it detects cover there, it would destroy the cylindrical constraint and make another one for the new cover? But then I would somehow need to make it check if the character is the inner or outer wall of the cover. Idk, let me know what you would do.
