I just finished Roblox Islands, and it gave me an idea about a game. It involves placing block like in Islands but I cant figure out how?
The Islands block placement uses tool, and does most of the computing on the server side.

your not allowed to do requests, if there was some attempt code, then maybe we will help you

your better off using https://devforum.roblox.com/ , They are a bit a bit nicer to requests, this site is usually for scripting helpers, for example, if someone gets an error with their code, then post it here and they will fix/revamp the code to make it cleaner.
When you're trying to learn lua, or any thing really, it's better to learn the basics then head your way to advanced. You can't just go and start to learn to make a well - made game. These games take time to proceed. It's just like anything e.g. maths or math; you can't just learn how to do maths without learning the basics, you MUST learn the basics first then advance from there!
This site is NOT a request site, sorry for the inconvenience! If you wan't to learn lua practise daily make some small projects like (obbies) obstacles then simulators etc. Your skills will improve and you'll be happier!
