does anybody know how to make it so when i press e or q or both it makes a hook with a rope that sticks to the object that the mouse cursor is hovering over and when it lands on the platform it makes the player go forward and it plays and animation and they can go right or left and they strafe and when they let go of e or q it gets deleted.

I would recommend learning how to script simpler stuff first. I could give you the script, but, you wouldn't learn anything.

ok so for the script i broke it down into 3 scripts a module script a local script and a server script, inside the server script i defined the position of the player and the hooks position, in the local script i made it so when an event is fired it moves the player towards the parts but the problem is i want it to slowly make its way there i dont want them to teleport.
and MlgSteakStyle im an apprentice in scripting so yes i would understand
