How to "compensate" for a part's velocity?

I'm trying to compensate for a part that is parented to a path finding humanoid model. I've tried adding velocity to position

X.Position = Zpart.Position + Vector3.new(0,0,Zpart.Velocity.Z)

I don't have any ideas of what to try its getting frustrating.

What do you mean by compensate

go forwards depandant on their velocity like for example if the delay 0.2 then account for the velocity that would pass in 0.2 seconds

So you want 2 parts to move as if they were attached to each other?

similar to that more like a projectile or explosion

To move projectiles following another part you should use the RocketPropulsion bodymover, its quite simple to use;

RocketPropulsion

If you want to move a part and have it behave like theyre attached to eachother and move at exactly the same speed you should use weld constraints;

Welds

I did not mean that. I meant calculating position by velocity and delay
