(follow up) how do I fire raycast at point blank range?

You should instead of targeting an object CFrame as shown in the tutorial you watched, target the LookVector CFrame of your gun.

Have you tried attempting this? If so, where is your script? If not, do that.

And it was targeting an object do I remove that from the script. Then will it fire at point blank?
