Is there a way to stop a script and restart it?

So I'm making a parkour type of game and I have a fall damage script (https://www.roblox.com/library/41745130/New-fall-damage-script) and I wanted to press c to make you take no fall damage and play a like rolling animation or something, and what I was going to do is have it disable it for like 3 seconds and re enable it. If anyone could link a video or something that helps out would be awesome.
