Friend gave a game file to me, but shift to run animations wont work?

Its the exact same game file as his, but when you hold shift to run in this one you run but theres no running animation like there is in the other same place. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks!

Roblox currently doesn't have it so that users can share animations. If you want to make a run script, you'll need to make your own animation for it.

You don't need to play a running animation unless you plan on making a custom one.

Setting a player's WalkSpeed to over 16 automatically toggles Roblox's built-in run animation for whatever character they are using.

player.CharacterAdded:Connect(function(character)
character.Humanoid.WalkSpeed = 23

You can't share animations in game files, however you can ask your friend to publish it to get its AnimationId which you could then carry on

Here is an example in your case-

This is my crouch script-

local plr = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local uis = game:GetService('UserInputService')
local Animate
local humanoid =  plr.Character:FindFirstChild('Humanoid')

uis.InputBegan:Connect(function(key)
	if key.KeyCode == Enum.KeyCode.C then
		local animation = Instance.new('Animation', plr.Character)
		animation.AnimationId = 'rbxassetid://5562952962' -- My Friends Animation ID
		Animate = humanoid:LoadAnimation(animation)
		Animate:Play()
		humanoid.WalkSpeed = 8
	end
end)

uis.InputEnded:Connect(function(key)
	if key.KeyCode == Enum.KeyCode.C then
		humanoid.WalkSpeed = 16
		Animate:Stop()
	end
end)
