COMMUNITY QUESTION

Why won't my tool that I'm using to basically kill the player using it work?

local Tool = script.Parent
local destroyem = game.Workspace:WaitForChild("UpperTorso")

Tool.Activated:Connect(function()
    destroyem:Destroy()
    end)

Why won't it work? I'm a bit of a new scripter so I'm not really sure.

What I'm trying to do is the script waits for the UpperTorso of a player, and when the tool is activated it gets destroyed and the player should die.

By the way this won't be used in an actual game, it's a testing for me.

I figured it out. UpperTorso is not a child of Workspace.
