Is there a way to edit scripts in game if you're the creator?

Asked by 3 days ago

I would like to know if there is any way possible that lets the creator of a game edit scripts while in game. For example, if there was anything wrong with a script, they could edit it so they wouldn't have to fix it in studio and shut down servers for it to work in game. Please let me know if something like this exists!

Unfortunately, you cannot do it unless you create a custom explorer, the only way on doing that is if you are playing via studio

It is Impossible to edit scripts in-game, because LocalScripts/Server Scripts are not allowed to edit any scripts, unless you make a complex script system. Would take a long time to make!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit scripts in-game. However, you may use the Developer Console's command line to kick players and destroy blocks in-game.

To view the console, simply chat '/console' or press 'F9'.
