I'm not that good with CFrames, so please make your explanation easy for me to understand. I'm wondering if I theoretically built a turrent and I want it to rotate along the X-Axis pointing towards the player if it touches a certain part (or you could use distance if you want). I was wondering how to do that with the :SetPrimaryPartCFrame() function.

I mean an axis that points toward the player but doesn't do funky stuff.
Okay, I meant Y-Axis. I just found out.
I've made some turrets waay back when... The code should still be good but i think the turrets may break on trying them, They are using BodyGyros to move the model of the turret. LINK: https://www.roblox.com/library/13498106/Ai-Pack-V1-0
