Right now a part of my script is as follows
script.Parent.ClickDetector.MouseClick:Connect(function(p)
p.PlayerGui.MenuGui.Visible = true
end)
Is this a good way to go about doing this? Or should I be using :FireClient() and RemoteEvents?

I normally use remote events, as I normally don't replicate gui to server, but yes, if you make sure the gui is replicated, you can do that
The GUI is only for a certain user, so when they join it's put into their PlayerGui
Above is done via clone
@tictac67 thats true, but that is replicated to server, so there's no problem changing ui via server
Cool. So just to confirm (because I may have got the wrong end of the stick), I'm fine doing it via the server without RemoteEvents?
yes
Cool. thanks for the help :)
