I need help in figuring out how to get a vector based on a surface normal of a part and user-input.
This vector should be the direction in which the player is moving in according to their input. For example, https://i.imgur.com/cX2N0v2.png A player should be able to move up when pressing W, down when S, right when D, and left when A is held.
I have a table with this data and I'm using a BodyVelocity to move the character, which is why I need a vector. I'm also using a BodyGyro for the direction the character is facing (towards the wall), which is just the surface normal of the part which I got from a ray.
I was thinking that this could be possible by also using the Humanoid's MoveDirection property as well to eliminate UserInputService, but I can't even get started with this.
I'm clueless on where to start so any help would be appreciated.
