How do I make a game that only plays on a GUI?

Hi! I want to make a game that works like Word Bomb, What's The Word?, Draw It, and so on. The problem I'm facing is what is the best way to give the player a GUI and making the player not spawn, so players won't wander around on the baseplate. I've found a way to do it, but is there a better way to do it? I'm disabling characters from spawning and giving the player a GUI when a player joins. I haven't tested out making it so players will see the same, but I'll found out later when I've made the "giving GUI system"

Thanks, NordicM

Well you can disable their WalkSpeed or trap them in a room?? Or you can also anchor their HumanoidRootPart

Also make sure to disable reset like so in a LocalScript

game:GetService("StarterGui"):SetCore("ResetButtonCallback", false)

It could work anchoring the HumanoidRootPart, but isn't it best to just disable character spawning?

Well you can always destroy the character object. player.Character:Destroy() and it would just be same.

Easy! I'll give you some settings.

First, let's disable walking because the player can easily walk off the map.

local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer
player:WaitForChild("Character").Humanoid.Walkspeed = 0

Okay, there. Now, let's disable resetting

game:GetService("StarterGui"):SetCore("ResetButtonCallback", false)

I think this can be kinda buggy and you will also hear the players falling when they spawn.
