How to fetch a playername in lowercase?

I am making an In-Flight-Entertainment System from my airline and I cannot seem to make a code that returns the player name in lowercase.

This is my current code:

local label = script.Parent
local playername = game.Players.LocalPlayer.DisplayName:Lower()

label.Text = "welcome "..playername.."!"

However, when I test the game it simply doesn't override the text. What would be a solution to this?
