You can simulate bullet drop using raycasting by shooting out tiny rays over the path the projectile is going to take.
So you have a projectile at a start location, and it shoots a ray forward 1 stud, then it moves the projectile to the end of the ray if it doesnt detect a part in the way, then it shoots another ray slightly aimed down depending on how much drop you give it, and moves the part to the end of the ray if it doesn't detect a part in the way.
Then it loops like that until it hits the max distance or till it hits another part.

cool if you do that you can make it wait() between every cast right?
I would not recommend you use waits because it will look choppy, if you want to slow it down, just shorten the distance each ray goes before timing out.
Oh also, don't bind it to renderstepped, use heartbeat instead https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/event/RunService/Heartbeat
Ok ty btw what do you mean “timing out?”
so with each ray you keep track of the distance it travels and add it to a total. For the purpose of saving processing power and memory, you will want to set a max distance between 1k to 2k studs. So, each ray you check if the total distance is greater than max distance, and if so, the loop stops and you can then handle what happens when it "times out".
