grabbing unanchored objects with mouse? drag parts / objects

I can't find any tutorial on this, nor I have any clue on how to make this.

In-game you can pick up unanchored objects, move them around, and when you release the mouse the object drops to the ground, like in Half-life 2.

This is the only thing I could find v

Im sorry if this sounds like a request, I just have nothing to work with.

I cannot provide any code since i have never really tried using this specifically but i think you could temporarily set the object to be anchored. After anchoring it, try to get the direction you are facing using LookVector and simply add an offset. Sorry, as i said i have not experimented with those and thus cannot give code but i think this should be enough to convey how it should be done? Ill try experimenting with those and if you still need help i will see what i can do. :D

The reason why is bc it not a strong part, Obby parts are strong so search up Obby parts in explorer and test them out and when there's a button then if pressed, it will not fall as an Obby part, they never fall.
