How would I make an if text function?

I am basically wanting to do something like this

if script.Parent.Text == "Color" Then

Is the quotations wrong or is something messed up with the small script?

	if someLabel.Text == "Some Words" then
		-- do stuff
	end
end

Remember that Then needs to be lowercase.
