[Solved] tool isn't working when i equip it, it goes off to somewhere close to me?

Is your tool handle anchored?

actually i deleted the tool handle because i thought it wasn't necessary because i just wanted the tool im pretty new with tools so yeah

it teleports me to the gun and i cant move and i am frozen until i remove it and i fall back down

Hmm, make sure all the parts in your tool are unanchored. You will have to weld them together to not fall apart

Oh thats my bad. What I meant by saying that is to ask if it is anchored, and if it was, then I would tell you to unanchor it

to give you a good idea of what im dealing with, in the toolbox type out sniper then go to AWP and click it that is what i've been using so i put it in starter pack then take out ammo threw settings (because i just need the gun not the code) then i select everything and unanchor it that is my gun

ok i found out something big the handle teleports to my hand the gun itself does not i made the handle visible so that is how i found out

ok we need a script that weilds the entire gun so when it goes to the players hand, the other parts will move to it also.
