local Part = script.Parent
-- Part size is 2,2,2
Part.Size = Vector3.new(3,3,3)
So how to make the part not scale upwards? normally it scales on all axis, but I want it to scale like this v
local Part = script.Parent
-- Part size is 2,2,2
Part.Size = Vector3.new(3,3,3)
So how to make the part not scale upwards? normally it scales on all axis, but I want it to scale like this v
If you want to do the thing in the gif, do this
local part = script.Parent
repeat
wait(0.1)
part.Size = part.Size + Vector3.new(0.1,0.1,0.1)
until part.Size == Vector3.new(6,6,6)
THATS NOT WHAT I NEED
Then please be more descriptive
look at the image i attached
This is not what we meant by 'descriptive'.
So then you want to scale a part like that?
yes, check the gyazo gif
nope, it scaled like normaly
So how the hell do you want it scaled.
I just want to achive that with a script
You want it to do it smoothly? You want to scale it smoothly?
no just snap into that size using vector3.new
Dude, that's what my answer is doing dull head.

You can add the Vector3 values, like Part.Size = Part.Size + Vector3.new(1,1,1)
you can do something like vector3.new(nil,nil,3)
Thats not what I need, I want it to scale on all axes, but not move up
Roblox automatically moves the axes, because the size has changed. If the size changes, then the volume increases, and then it moves. You can't really stop it from moving. If you want to reset the position, then do Part.Position = Vector3.new()
That's like saying: I wanna size up a brick instantly, and once you do that, it automatically moves up.
you need to use the Resize() method
Does my answer work?
