What are the difference of StarterPlayerScipts and StarterCharacterScripts?

I’m sometimes confused by this matter, if I should put my LocalScript inside of StarterPlayer or StarterCharacter scripts. It would be really appreciated if someone could help me on this matter. Thanks!

The names explain it by themself.

Anything in startercharacter goes into the player model of your character that you see when you play the game.

Anything in starterplayer goes into your actual player that you see in the Players service.

If you wanted to change a characters walk speed, you would put a script that does it in startercharacter. If you wanted to change a players GUI, you could put the script for that inside of the starterplayer(or inside a GUI; whatever suits your fancy)

Hope this helped!
