why wont my Color3 variable not show up?

im trying to make a script to change colors in a gui but I'm getting an error that says "BackgroundColor is not a valid member of Folder" but I look in the explorer and it is in fact there, can someone help me out?

CustomData.BgC.Red.Changed:Connect(function()
	local Red = CustomData.BgC.Red
	local Green = CustomData.BgC.Green
	local Blue = CustomData.BgC.Blue

	CustomData.BgC.BackgroundColor = Color3.fromRGB(Red.Value,Green.Value,Blue.Value)
end)

From what I know, RGB only accepts the colour code, not a variable. Try putting the variables' values DIRECTLY in the color3.fromRGB function
