COMMUNITY QUESTION

how can i make it so that a script turns off after running once?

i'm trying to make a gui that hides itself so it wont appear during a menu sequence, everything works fine, but when a player resets or just dies in general, the gui doesn't appear (since the script that makes it visible is under a text button that only appears once (because its part of the menu sequence mentioned before)

is there any way to make the gui appear visible after you reset? its a single-frame gui with only a viewportframe, the thing that is being made invisible is the frame itself, not the screengui, thanks!

Go into the properties of the GUI, and set ResetOnSpawn to false.
