Sometimes when Im making scripts this white box appears on the letters I type making it impossible to select a part of the script and type there. How do I turn it off?

Look for an 'ins' or 'insert' key somewhere on your keyboard. It's infuriating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insert_key
Okay I will try that when I get that thing again, how does it even appear?
