Changing BillBoardGUI's size when you're close? [1K LETS GOO, thanks for your support!]

So I'm like tweening the size of the billboardgui to create a good dialogue, can someone please explain how to change the size of it?

The real error is on line 19, where i set the scale to yeah. You can ignore the rest of the script just focus on line 19

#ERROR: Scale cannot be assigned to [line 19]

local Signs = game.Workspace.DIalogues.Models:GetChildren() -- stores them in a table: {}, with all the contents

for i, v in pairs(Signs) do
	Parts = v:FindFirstChild("Part")
	BillBoardGUI = Parts:FindFirstChild("BillboardGui")
    SignLabel = BillBoardGUI:FindFirstChild("TextLabel")
end
-- Player variables, etc.
local P = game.Players.LocalPlayer

local Character = P.Character

local Root = Character:WaitForChild("HumanoidRootPart")
local Humanoid = Character:WaitForChild("Humanoid")
-- Functions --

if (Parts.Position - Root.Position).Magnitude <= 40 then
	SignLabel.Size.X.Scale = 1
end

On the billboard property, you can change Offset (in size and position) to Scale (you will need to scale again)

It's still not working??

After you set OffSet to 0 and use Scale and it still don't work then... u might have to rebuild the billboard :/

Try putting the if statement in the loop itself?

I have tried doing so, it's still not functioning. like while wait(1) do

Any other errors when you did that?

Oh and also, stop changing the title thanks.

The error is; scale cannot be assigned too.

Last thing i can think of, is by using the udim2.new()

You can not directly change only the "x" value, so you must do this with UDim2.new.

if (Parts.Position - Root.Position).Magnitude <= 40 then
    SignLabel.Size = UDim2.new(1,0,0,0) --the "1" is the x value you are looking to change. Put whatever dimensions you already have the billboard GUI at.
end

Like I said, you can't change individual values with size, such as the x offset or the y offset, so you must use UDim2.new(X Scale,X Offset, Y Scale, Y Offset)

Hopefully this helped!
