Image icons without uploading hundreds of decals?

Alright, making a game, has a ton of items in it, problem is I need an image for each item.

This leaves me with the problem of having to upload hundreds of decals to roblox and getting each id separately and copying it in, which as you can guess, is very time consuming

I'm not trying to be lazy here

What I'm wondering is if there's a way to get an image of every icon really fast.

I know some free models have thumbnail cameras in them, which I'd only assume is for the purpose of creating an icon for it.

I'm not asking for anything large, just to know if there's a way to do this without spending hours on photoshop. Any help would be a p p r e c i a t e d

unfortunately, you have to put decals yourself. if you use other peoples ,they may be copyrighted.

Can’t you just click the place where you would put the decal ID and upload the image from your files on your computer? I do that for images in the image button GUI.

Ok so it turns out that this is achievable with Viewport frames!

You can use these to view models/parts in a GUI which is actually really helpful!

I haven't quite figured out how they work but it seems (from what I've read) to be the most efficient and automatic way to generate icons for your items in game.

A good example of where these have been used is in Sky Block, it looks good and seems to run quite well.
