Currently trying to create a hangout game. However, I have no idea and have no plans to mess around with any scripts related to the chat service because well it's hard.
What I'm trying to create is some sort of system where it detects if a person is typing or not, and if they are, there should appear an indicator to show that they are typing. But if they are not typing nothing shows up unless they already sent a message.
