How to make a cutscene that zooms in on an object, when you touch a part?

I have been trying to figure out how to do cutscenes I even looked at the roblox tutorials and they just wouldn't work all I can think to say is

part = game.Workspace.Part

part.Touched:Connect(function(itemTouchingPart)
    if(itemTouchingPart.Parent and game.Players:FindFirstChild(itemTouchingPart.Parent.Name))then
        -- this is where i would do my cutscene code
    end

end)

You have 2 options: using Animations, and using the TweenService.

As far as animations go, you would use the animation editor to make a series of animations and have a script play them in the correct order in the correct time.

The second option would be to use the tween service, and it will require more effort scripting wise, but you might be moving the camera around with the tween service anyway, so if you want to keep everything handled the same way, then this is the way to do it.
