I'm creating a game, but I did some research and saw that games can be cloned and hacked. I related this to several scripts that I put in places where they should have localScripts (PlayerGui, etc) is it okay to use scripts to replace functions that the Client should perform? How could I make my game safer from exploiters?

You should be using a LocalScript for PlayerGui because a server cannot access that. GUIs are seen only by the client. Now, there's no way you can ABSOLUTELY prevent your game from being exploited, but there are some things that you can do to make it harder for exploiters to come at your game. Lots of developers rename their Instances to make it seem less relevant. That way, they know that the exploiters would not care much about it and probably just leave it alone.

so let's assume that an exploiter enters my game, if there is a script on the client, can it access it?
Yes, the exploiter can access anything on the Client.
