How come the copied tool won't activate?

This tool shouldn't activate, with "activate" are you reffering to put it on hand?
And if you want that the tool get in hand, just use "Player.Humanoid.Parent" instead of "Player.Backpack" (line 5). I haven't understood you question.
Please explain more. Any error messages? What is the exact outcome that you are expecting?
I mean like when I click on the tool nothing happens even though I have script in it
