How do I fix the direction of my fire?

I have a sword. One issue though, is that the fire is facing the wrong way. How do I somehow get the fire to face the right way? I've tried inserting an extra part, doesn't work.

Fires in roblox always face the 'Top' (Y) face. You can make it face the opposite direction (-Y) by setting its 'Heat' property to negative. If you want to make it always face upwards, regardless of part orientation, you can add an 'Attachment' in the part, then parent the fire to the attachment. If this doesn't solve your problem, adding a dummy part is the only choice.

The attachment strategy worked. Your answer was straight-forward and gave me exactly the idea of what to do, rather than being a mess. Thanks!
