im trying to make it so everyone in the game's boots are hidden
Ok, just make sure you find a way to track all the players that have those equipped. Once you get a table of all of those, you can just change their transparency from the server. Do you want everyone else, that doesn't have these boots equipped, to not be able to see these people that have them equipped? And only allow the people that are wearing the boots to see each other?
no i only want the local player not be able to see them but they can see the own
So what you want is for everyone wearing boots to be invisible to everyone else but themselves?
rather than themselves*
Either way, these will help you do that. FE makes it so scripts run on the client does not affect the server. So, you can just run whatever scripts you want locally to make them only affect the local player.
yh but then how do i get everyone's boots?
Using a table you can loop through everyone. If you haven't learned to do that much then I highly recommend just practicing some basics before jumping into more of the advanced stuff. The basics help build up to those advanced things.
