how do i make a pop off message?

i want to make a little message that pops when you do something, like when you get XP you know how a small line appears and says "+5 XP" i want that, i made it spawn and move but i want to be able to use the Destroy() to remove but the problem is that the script waits for the Destroy() time to come while i want it to continue to make more messages before the last one is destroyed, i tried to use corotine but it didnt help
