ClipsDescendants doesn't work in my GUI?

Greetings! This thing has bugged me for 2 days now, and I think it's time I fix it.

I'm working on a store GUI, and it works as follows: You can hover your mouse over 2 buttons in order to "move" the GUI and access more details and settings.

I wanted to use ClipsDescendants in order to hide half of the "side frames", but the feature simply doesn't seem to work.

Believe me that I tried everything I could.. I set the transparency of the parent frame to 0. I made the zindex higher, lower and the same compared to the children frames I checked for all the parent items to have their rotation set to 0. I tried using a LocalScript to activate the setting after the player is loaded. I moved everything outside the folder.

None of these worked.

(This is how the GUI is organised) https://prnt.sc/s8pq2z

Did anyone else experience something similar?

Can someone please help me with this?

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Issue solved. I'm an idiot.

For anyone else that is extremely tired and can't figure this out, the parent needs to have ClipsDescendants active, not the children which you want to be affected by it.
