Can anyone give me the basics of scripting a generator?

I deem this question as Not Constructive, because it's a request and because it really involves math rather than scripting. The scripting part is just creating parts and positioning them. The mathematical part is creating and defining the limits and positions. You should also look into anaminus' tree generator.
