I aint gotta show the script. This is basically it, i have a projectile and the network ownership is set to the server and it shoots off from the players position. This is what happends:

It gets the first colisions, i mean, the touch event gets triggered by all the shooter character's parts, it also gets triggered by some adittional parts that get created on the projectile's position that make up an effect and it also gets triggered by other parts outside the shooter's character and outside the effects, but only if those parts are close to the projectile origin, meaning, it gets triggered by other parts only in the beggining of its trajectory, with the distance seeming to vary slightly and randomly.

So why? Why does this happend?

After that little distance it stops detecting any ANY colisions, meaning, it doesnt trigger even an obvious colision with a wall and it stops even detecting the effect parts that always get created at it's position.

Why?

Is this roblox bulshit?

Is there a solution?

did you try without network ownership?

I cannot because network ownership is essential for projectiles in a fighting game. I mean im handling the touch event in a local script.. Does it not work bec the projectile set to server network owership needs to be handled in a normal script?
